Excellent property with private pool and lots of space, and very x 10 clean. All the staff were polite and super efficient and made sure we were well taken care of. Extremely impressed. Were were scuba diving off Mnemba Island so this location is very near and convenient.

It was a home away from home, filled with impeccable hospitality, thoughtful touches(surprised me with the best cake on my birthday), and unforgettable moments. If you're seeking a slice of paradise with a side of genuine human connection, look no further. Sylvia, Aga, Fau, Fridah, Felix and Denge made me feel truly welcomed and cared for.Also... if you're looking for some pampering, do not miss the massage and body scrub...it was the most blissfully indulgent hour of my entire trip!

What an absolutely delightful place to call home for a few days! We were looking for a restful spot on a quiet beach after our safari and this was it. The building itself is fascinating….lots of history within, unique and quirky and has everything you need and more. Our rooms were comfy and clean and the balcony in each room overlooking the beach was great. Massi and Miria are the perfect host…there when you need them with answers to all your questions. All staff were so kind and friendly…restaurant staff with whom we interacted the most were the best. The daily breakfast had a perfect selection of continental and hot options. And a juice with fruit and avocado that I wish I could have bottled and brought back home. We ate all three dinners there and they were out of this world (I’m running out of superlatives to describe our stay!). With Massi’s obvious influence they were all traditional Italian. Four amazing courses each night and only $20 USD per person. Worth so much more. I wholeheartedly recommend Zanzibar House as a perfect place to stay for a beach break. Suggest taking the taxi service offered on their site as we chose not to and our cab driver had difficulty locating it. With the help of a kind local on a motorbike however, we did. We had a wonderful stay at Ocean views villas in north Matemwe. The villas are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you need. The private garden and pool are perfect for relaxing. The staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive to every detail. The breakfast is delicious and varied, and the location is ideal for exploring the beautiful Matemwe beach and the nearby attractions. - View was breathtaking. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean was spectacular. The garden and the terrace outside the house were outstanding! Everything was also clean and in good order. - The house itself was spacious and well-kept. The rooms were beautiful, the kitchen well-equipped and the furniture all over was comfortable and in good shape. Toilets were also comfortable and regularly cleaned. - Food was excellent in all meals. The chef really knows his seafood! - On top of that, the staff were amazing. The house manager was very helpful. The ladies in the staff team were outstanding and super friendly. Smiles in every greeting and very warm attitude throughout the stay. A special thank to Latifa and Dolores for making our stay memorable.
