Lovely location. Great view with the balcony set up. Owners were brilliant. We arrived at 5am and they let us chill out in the reception area where we had a quick snooze & they had our room ready by 7:30am. They are dropped us to our bus the morning we were leaving

The owners are just unbelievable, they came to bus station at 5am and gave us a extremely early check in for free. They organized our tour and bus to Hue (pick up front there). They are just the best and kind people I've meet this trip. Can't thank them enough for their hospitality and such a big heart. I felt like home away from home. Location and the room was great too.

great river views, very helpful and friendly staff, good food, great sized family room - perfect for our stay in Phong Nha. Staff helped us hire scooters and we loved exploring the area.

The staff is extremely helpful and nice. They helped us organising cave trips and jungle hiking. And supported with the transfers tot he airport. The owner was really friendly and texting in whatsApp, replied quickly, provided all the needed info. Highly recommend

- They picked us up from the bus on motorbikes (probably won’t work if you have suitcases but we had backpacks!) - Helped us when we got food poisoning with medicine and bananas - Playing tag with the little kids was fun - Organised a cheap taxi to Dong Hoi for us cos there was no bus for a long time - The view from our room was SPECTACULAR - The bathroom is really big and there was everything we needed - The beds were really big and comfy - Organised cheap scooter for us for 150k per day

We absolutely loved our three night stay at Greenfield and could have stayed much longer. Both Rene and his lovely wife were perfect hosts in this charming setting. Bungalows set amongst organic vegetable and herb gardens, lovely sitting areas and the best saltwater infinity pool with views out to the fields. Our room was basic but clean, our dinners at the homestay superb and Rene helped us with transfers and hiring scooters to get around this beautiful area. Highly recommend.

Very nice homestay with garden to relax and watch sunset next to the river. Free breakfast, cleanrooms and the family is lovely. I got sick while staying here and they even brought me soup. You can hire a motorbike and take a bicycle for free. All the restaurants are 5 minute bicycle ride away

The property being just outside of town and right on the water is relaxing and peaceful. It was great to wake up in the morning and have coffee while taking in the view of the river and mountains. The owner, Phong, is a great host and can arrange anything you want. He is extremely knowledgeable of the area. We really enjoyed renting motorbikes to tour around the national park and visit a few caves, stunning landscapes! We also had a great paddle on his paddleboards upriver. Would 100% stay again!

I enjoyed everything.It has to be the Premium Location in Phong Nha.Amazing View.Close but also far away enough from Town Centre.Breakfast was basic but so tasty.I found it incredible value for $$.Staff were very pleasant and helpful.Especially Yen who had good English and was so helpful with my day tour and Sleeper Bus Bookings.It was without doubt my favourite place so far in Vietnam and I will come back to relax for 3-4 nights in the Future.I’d say don’t miss Phong Nha on your Vietnam Holiday and definitely stay at Areca Bungalows.. Super beautiful room, very friendly family, cooked amazing food and was super helpful with our stay
