We had a great stay at la Maison de L’Ile. Sylvie’s hospitality was very kind and Yves made a great breakfast ! The facilities were very clean, the room perfect! Wow!!

Although the B and B is located on a sizeable hill, we were easily able to do a lot of walking and hiking thoughout the town each day to see nature (including the whales), whale interpretation center, and to go to the local restaurants. We used our vehicle once to access the Point Noir Lookout on the opposite side of the Saguenay Fjord.

With a view on a mountain, Le Boisé (Les Manoirs) Mont-Tremblant is 7 minutes' walk from the Mont Tremblant Pedestrian Village. It offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and air conditioning. Catherine and Julien's property was everything my partner and I needed for our stay at Mont-Tremblant. It was far enough from the ski village to feel removed from the busy area, but just a simple 10 minute walk if we chose to grab a bite there. The unit was clean, very comfortable and great location to access local hiking trails, restaurants, and highways. This was our first time in Canada and Julien was able to respond promptly with the many questions I had. Easily the most helpful hosts I've encountered. Julien had plenty of recommendations for hikes near the condo. We chose to visit the national park which was a very easy drive. Overall, this condo was perfect to explore the area for the first time and I would definitely stay here again if I could. My only disappointment was not being able to extend our stay for an extra day because it was already booked for that day. Makes sense given how great the condo and the area are!
