Located in Capurganá in the Choco region, Mi Cabaña El Maderal has a garden. It is situated 400 metres from Capurganá Beach and features a lift. The family that run the Cabana are the best. Very helpful and relaxed and they do washing too! They also generously let us pay via PayPal because there is no cash machine in the village and we were low on cash. ( We are stupid British tourists). They have the most adorable dog and cats! The breakfast pizza we had was the best breakfast we've had from any hostel we have stayed in this trip! I don't usually write reviews regularly but because the family went above and beyond for us. :) Thank you! Bryn and Emma x

Located on the beachfront in Bahía Solano, Refugio Mr Jerry Eco Hostal has a terrace. The property features sea and inner courtyard views. an incredible place to enjoy everything around and relax.

Located in El Valle, The Pelican House Hostel offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from Playa El Almejal and provides various facilities, such as a fitness centre, an open-air bath and a... Such a great hostel. Daniela was so kind and welcoming, she really made an already excellent hostel all the better. Location couldn't be better, right on the beach & town is only a short walk away. Coffee is available at all times and the kitchen is big and fully equipped. Comfy beds with mosquito nets. The cutest, friendliest pets. Couldn't recommend this place more.

The Hill B&B (El Morro Hosteria) offers pet-friendly, beachfront accommodations in El Valle - Bahia Solano. The Location! Without doubt the best Location/view in El Valle. Monica is an amazing Host who makes sure that everything about your trip and local tours runs smooth. Every day rooms were cleaned/fresh sheets or towels if needed. A place to Calm down, enjoying the Sounds of the sea. Restaurants are close by. Tours can be organized through Monica.

Facing the seafront in Nuquí, Popochos Beach Eco-Lodge has a garden. The campground features family rooms. The units at the campground are fitted with a seating area. This place is something special. Estefania and Giovanni went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They offer services like homecooked meals, organizing your activities, and much more. We felt very much at home in our beautiful private apartment at Popochos. The lodges are just steps away from a gorgeous beach which you will have to yourself. Nuqui is already a dream but our stay at Popochos made it unforgettable. As an extra bonus, the hostel dog Rocky is always there to accompany you on some adventures if you wish!

A recently renovated guest house, HOSPEDAJE DOÑA NEL offers accommodation in El Valle. Located on the beachfront, this property features a private beach area, a garden, a terrace and free WiFi. Everything was great and the price-quality ratio is simply outstanding. The room was very clean and cozy (more than it appeared from the pictures), the food was excellent, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Of course the locations right on the beach is lovely and strongly increases your chances or seeing whales and turtles! It is true that the tide makes the hotel inaccessible at some hours, but as far as we understood this is the same for all hotels located on the beach. Moreover, the owners helped us to know at what time we needed to leave every time we went on an excursion or when we left. So finally it was not too problematic thanks to them.

Situated just 500 metres from Capurganá Beach, HOSTAL EL DESCANSO features accommodation in Capurganá with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a tour desk. The owner was amazing!! He brought us coffee, was super smiley and made us feel super at home. The rooms were perfect and it was such a good price!

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of garden, Hostal Portal Del Sol is set in Capurganá, less than 1 km from Capurganá Beach. Portal del Sol is a hidden jewel! It is run by the most adorable couple, Carlos and Maricela, who were very helpful, attentive to the needs of their guests, and kind. Portal del Sol is tucked away in a lush garden setting and is located adjacent to the Sapzurro trailhead. It is quiet and peaceful, and an easy 10 minute walk to the center of Capurgana and to the beach. When I first arrived, Carlos gave me a tour of Capurgana, pointing out places to eat, swim, shop and how to find my way back to Portal del Sol. Hint! Look for the blue wall. My room was clean and simple with everything a person needs to be comfortable - bed, fan, shower and toilet. Now let’s talk about the breakfasts. THE BREAKFASTS!!! They were incredible, with something different and unique every day, including fresh juice from one of Carlos and Maricela’s many fruit trees. Breakfast often included a traditional Colombian dish, too. So good and filling, you won’t need to eat again until dinnertime. And you get to enjoy your breakfast in their lovely garden - the perfect way to start your day! Portal del Sol is a small establishment, with just 3 (or maybe 4 ) cabins. Everything was well-cared for, tidy and super safe. I stayed at Portal del Sol six nights and could have easily stayed much longer because it was so comfortable and because of the hospitality of Carlos and Maricela.

Situated within 600 metres of Capurganá Beach in Capurganá, Casa de Vacaciones ECOWASI VERAS offers accommodation with seating area. The location is good - on the outskirts of Capurgana (it can get noisy at night closer to the center), close to jungle. The kitchen is a bit basic but ok. The terrace with hammocks is nice.
