I couldn't reccomend this houseboat enough, it exceeded our expectations. The location of the house boat is ideal. A short boat ride of a few minutes away from the main street and included in the price. Most houseboats charge for crossings. It is located at the end of the first row of house boats, giving you a wonderful uninterrupted view of the whole lake from your bedroom. The house boat is surrounded by beautiful waterlilies and looks stunning. Everything was very clean and we felt very safe. Abrahim is a wonderful host, who made our experience in Srinagar memorable. He helped us plan our days and even organised a driver for us for our next leg of our journey to Leh! We really felt at home from the minute we arrived and Abrahim was available whenever we needed him. Breakfast was included, and really set us up for the day. We ate on the houseboat varanda, cooked with Kashmiri love accompanied by Kashmiri tea - another highlight. Thank you for making us feel like family, Abrahim!

Good and comfortable stay, they have many options of rooms. Food is very good both veg as well as non veg and worth the prices. They have all amenities. Good hotel must visit and enjoy the stay.

Featuring a hot tub, Tashkand Houseboat is located in Srinagar. Featuring mountain and lake views, this boat also provides guests with free WiFi. I had a wonderful stay at Tashkand houseboat during winter season in January 2023. Musa, the houseboat owner, is very helpful and provide very good service. Dinner at Tashkand was our best dining in Kashmir as it's fresh meat, homemade, and no MSG. If you stay here I recommend trying 1 dining at his place. The place is clean and tidy. There's towels and amenities provided. There s no heater in the bedroom but it's replaced with warmed electric blanket which works very well to keep you warm at night, especially in winter. There are free shikara ride across to main road if you paid for shikara ride trip the first or second day. It's a special deal that the houseboat made with shikara riders so you will get the best deal and save money if you get shikara trip. It was the memorable, affordable house boat price. Boasting ski-to-door access, Chicago Houseboats is located in Srinagar. The property is located at Dal Lake, 0.5 km from Nehru Park and 3.1 km from Lal Chowk Ghantaghar. The place has lots of soul. Staff goes beyond helpful and polite. They share Kashmiri ways by example. They are happy to answer questions, but you can also observe the pace of things and how they relate to each other. It's more of an experience than just a place to stay. Unlike most other houseboats, Chicago makes greater investments in maintenance and cleaning. The kitchen and common areas are outstanding. Hot water and wifi was 100% dependable.

Boasting garden views, Veena Palace Group Of Houseboats features accommodation with a garden, a bar and a shared lounge, around 7.7 km from Hazratbal Mosque. We booked for a night and ended up staying for a week. The owner Firdaus is a fun-loving host and made us feel at home. Even treated us to Eid lunch and took us swimming. Home-cooked meals can be provided. The wifi is very good and one can work out of here too. Would recommend this place
