Our 2 weeks stay at l'Agriturismo Il Medeghino was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The property itself is spectacular and without exception, the family and staff are friendly and eager to please. The centuries old property was tastefully and elegantly renovated, sparing no detail or expense. Our room was large and comfortable, as well as being full of character, and the overall vibe of the whole agriturismo was one of relaxation. We particularly enjoyed the tranquility around the pool area and breakfast in the historic courtyard. Breakfast itself was delicious and consisted of high quality products. Rooms were cleaned immaculately by the cleaning lady.

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Mandello del Lario, Picobello Lago is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain. Everything was perfect!! Very nice host.

Set in Lezzeno, just 6.7 km from Villa Melzi Gardens, La Corte del Governo 565 offers beachfront accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. Sheer perfection. The food. The hospitality. The beauty. The cleanliness. I genuinely had the most perfect holiday, thanks especially to Silvia and Pietro! Despite my flight getting delayed 3 hours, Silvia met me walking from the bus stop and her family still ensured that I had the most delicious dinner ever. Seriously…at the first bite of the carbonara I think even my ancestors smiled. Now *that* is how pasta should taste! Not least after a chaotic travel day and extraordinarily hectic past few weeks, I felt so moved the minute I arrived, just taking everything in and that sense of finally feeling so at peace. The room was gorgeous and my balcony let me overlook bits of the lake as well. The view of the lake at mealtimes was perfection. I only had to walk a minute to access the private beach, where I spent every afternoon. I a review complaining about it being a pebble beach but… come on now, it’s a lake! I was not expecting white sandy shores lol. The water was clear and lovely, with space for shade and sunbathing. Staff at the hotel took care of everything. Transport options were simple with the bus and ferry; I didn’t have a car but didn’t need one. I met such friendly people. Life there for those three days was simple but exquisite and sheer bliss.
