From the welcome (Marta was so kind to stay in touch with me over whatsapp and made sure the key to the room was there when we arrived and in general, she was super hospitable) to the room (AC was a huge blessing during the hot day) and the location of the hotel, we loved everything. Smeraldo dip Villa Canneto is a beachfront property situated in Sirmione, 1.1 km from Sirmione Public Beach and 1.5 km from Lido Galeazzi Beach. Lovely property, beautiful location; easily walkable to the beautiful old town and its many restaurants, ice cream shops and café/bars. Our flight times (arrival and departure) did not align well with check in/check out and ofgicial check in location was unmanned. Fortunately Hotel La Paul (just over the road) were very happy for us to leave our luggage with them in their reception.
