Ryokan Hostel K’s House ligger i en 100 år gammal kulturminnesmärkt byggnad i Shizuoka, 7 minuters promenad från järnvägsstationen JR Ito. Vandrarhemmet erbjuder termalbad, gratis WiFi och 3 lounger. This was our third stay here. It is just lovely. Spotlessly clean which is a bit of a feat in a 100 year old building with lots of nooks and crannies. Friendly staff. Good location in the centre of town. Great atmosphere and of course the wonderful onsen to soak out one's jetlag.

Marina Bay Atami ligger i Atami och erbjuder boende med utsikt över bergen, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering, 6 minuters promenad från Atami Sun strand. The view from the hotel is very nice, located near the sea and easy to access. It was spacious and clean, with all necessary facilities which made the stay very comfortable. The host was also very welcoming, and the information provided on booking were matching reality. In summary, it was a great experience, I would definitely recommend it.

熱海温泉 実の別荘 ligger i Atami, inom 18 minuters promenad från Atami Sun strand och 31 km från Shuzenji-templet, och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen samt gratis privat... When we arrived (which was late due to traffic) we were greeted by the enthusiasm of the host, he helped us with parking and was very excited to show us the place. We felt very welcome. There are private bathrooms which you can book to bath with your friends/family, one of the best thing about this little gem in Atami:) I was surprised by the cleanliness and the comfort level here. it’s a newly refurbished building, it has three floors with a spacious living room/common room on the second floor which is shared by all the customers here. The room comes with a standard toilet and a shower and quite spacious overall. The tatami bed is comfy. Other reviews complained about the location, but because we drive we think it is an amazing spot! It’s 3 min drive from the famous shrine, and 5 minute to the ginza where there is lots of restaurants and shops. You can also see the fireworks display in the living room if you come on the right times:) We didn’t get the youthful and energetic host’s name, but thank you so much we had a great time staying!!

SOKI ATAMI ligger i Atami, 1,7 km från Atami Sun strand, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en terrass och en restaurang. Location is a little out of town, definitely need a car, but loads of parking. SO well designed, just perfect

オーシャンビューゲストハウスEat&Stay ROMEY ligger i Shizuoka, 12 km från Rengejiike Park Fuji Festival, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en terrass och en restaurang. The hosts were very nice, and the area is very cool and not-so-touristy, in a good way!

Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 erbjuder 2-stjärnigt boende vid stranden i Higashiizu och har trädgård, gemensam lounge och terrass. Wonderfully charming room and guesthouse, in an excellent location. Close to forest walks and an un-missable seaside on-sen, with friendly and helpful hosts. If we are ever in Izu Hokkawa again, we will be sure to stay here!

Guesthouse SORA ligger i Minamiizu, 6 minuters promenad från Yumiga strand, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering och en gemensam lounge. Everything was so neat and tidy. The owner was so kind and everyone staying was so friendly.

Stranden Kisami Ohama ligger bara 3 minuters promenad från Oli Oli Guesthouse i Shimoda och har en terrass och en bar. Boendet ligger 7 km från stranden Shirahama Ohama. It was at a great location, the host was very nice and smiling. The service was great

Villa Yumigahama ligger en kort bit från Yumiga strand och erbjuder luftkonditionerat boende med gratis cyklar, en trädgård, en terrass och gratis WiFi. The owner Jun was extremely helpful and provided great information which made our stay memorable. He has recommendation on where to buy food for cooking, great attractions, and good restaurants. We were given the choice of a Seaview room which exceeded our expectations. The whole family was welcoming, including their cat!
