Lovely apartment, had everything I needed, good kitchen, including blender to make smoothies, spacious, nicely decorated, very cosy. Nice little private garden, where two parrots made their nest in the tree. Communication with host was fine, although mostly with app, no personal contact. My worry was that it would be inconvenient without a car, but that was no problem at all: you can walk to the main road, where there are frequent buses to the national parc and Manuel Antonio beach. I found it also easy to hitchhike when I missed the bus, parc and beach are the end of the road, and all cars go there. Teva hostel is near (walking distance) and has a nice (Moroccan) restaurant.

Michael was really helpful organising pickup from Quepos airport and very quickly put me in touch with people running various tours/hikes. Nearest beach is a great 30min hike and completely empty. Met a number of lovely people at the hotel and on the tours. I was lucky: I did the afternoon snorkelling trip with sunset (only 9 of us on max 20 motor boat - included food (mahimahi - superb), coastal hike (just me and the guide) nighttime mangrove boat trip - all excellent, great value for money. Trust his recommendations. Breakfast was relaxed and excellent :D

Staff was super nice and very helpful. Love them both, Hermina and Ana Karina were the best! Great location. Ana Karina gives a great physio massage and follows with suggested excercises. They helped me deal with a nasty iguana bite so it would not get infected...many thanks!
