Absolutely amazing place to stay in. Pleasant staff (who is actually an owner of the place) so even my children noticed that it felt like we stayed at grandma's place. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices for everyone. The view from the room was peaceful, pretty sure it's even better when it's sunny outside.

Good value, the menu looks good although we had already booked dinner at a restaurant in Stocksbridge, but breakfast was exceptional, cooked to order, quality ingredients. Good pint of beer before we headed out, and reasonably priced. Staff very pleasant and helpful, needed an iron and board because I'd come straight from work, they were there within 5 mins with a smile!
