We really enjoyed our stay at Snehatheeram Homestay. The accommodation is lovely and is located within walking distance of the bus stand, ATMs, shops, cafes and the canals. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming and had a range of suggestions on locations/food spots to visit. They also helped us arrange a really fun kayaking trip and a sunset boat trip at short notice.

Well situated half between the beach and the city center, Johnson homestay is a great family house with a nice garden. The rooms are clean and well furnished. Johnson is very welcoming and very committed to his guests. I particularly appreciated his advices for the ferries in the backwaters and I had a memorable experience. Even if I didn’t have the time to do his tour on village canoe cruise, the guests who did it were really satisfied. Wonderful stay !

Very peaceful stay and very near to beach.. World class hospitality by the hosts. Will never let you down.. Best food I have ever eaten in Kerala.. from the sumptuous dinner (best sea food I have ever ate) to the activating breakfast .. everything was good... They even have a BBQ setup.. inform them earlier for arrangements Contact them early for houseboat or shikara bookings too.. they will arrange it for you... Much recommended stay for lovely food and comfortable sleep.

It's a nice remote place close to the beach.we went during summer and can't expect muh a pleasing weather. We took the 3 rooms on the first floor and has a good time. Our pet popaye also enjoyed the stay The beach close to the resort is not at all crowded. It's better to go the beach as a group The main beach is just 2.5 kms from the place

The space is pure bliss - secluded beach with golden sand and clear warm waters, with an immaculate room, huge comfortable bed, outside terrace with sunset views every evening (either from the room itself or the upstairs terrace). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! I will share my experience . It is a beautifully constructed 2 room private property in Allepey. Beach is almost 50 metres from the room, exclusively private and clean. The best part about booking this property is the owner. He is a very friendly and helpful guy . He was there to welcome me when I arrived . He told me about the history and places of Allepey in depth. He took utmost care of me, also took me in out to show the city, restaurants and his house . The property is close to all the beautiful spots yet it doesn't have the noise and traffic. The vibe is really good. They also have a staff who is very polite and humble and cooks really good food. From my side it's a 10 on 10 for this place

We had access to the beach directly outside our room with beautiful sunsets and we saw dolphins swim close to the shore every evening. Daniella and Jackson were so helpful, great hosts. Really tasty breakfasts with fresh fruit and the option of pancakes, omelette or Indian breakfast. We tried all of them and all were delicious.JadeYoung couple

Even offered to pick us up from other beach as was bank holiday and wasn't sure if we could get tuk tuk. Room is okay size, very comfortable with private bathroom. Super quiet aircon. Comfy bed. Located 30 sec walk to beach and cafe. Small basic kitchen with fridge and communal area to sit inside and also terrace outside. Overall excellent place to stay and great value. Recommend.
