The location of the hotel is excellent in stone town. The staff is very friendly and we met the manager Danielle who was very welcoming and nice. The room and the decorations are exquisite, unique, clean and comfortable. The food as well is delicious. The view from the rooftop is amazing as well on the harbour.

Beautiful sanctuary from the hurry of the city. Wonderful ocean views and easy beach access. This is a tropical paradise. Easy access to local fish market, great place to see the dhows come in and out. Huts made of sustainable materials, yet all the modern conveniences you could want. The staff is super friendly, gentle souls, and helpful and feels like rafiki (friends). They serve breakfast right on your patio and have lunch and dinner options here. We had such good food that we would just ask Malik, the chef, to "surprise us." Jamal, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. He helped us arrange transportation to and from his lodge and has connections with tour companies to arrange any tour you might want to take.

We were only there a few hours as we had an early morning flight. We did wish we had booked more nights to explore Stone town. Rooms were value for money. Clean and huge with working AC and fan. Tony was added to the entire experience. He was helpful to organize us transfer from Jambiani at the best price. He also drove us to the airport at late hours. The hotel is on a central location and was a great way to explore stone town for a bit and come back and cool off in AC room and head out again. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. An absolute pleasant experience and will definitely book again at my next visit to Zanzibar. If you looking to explore stone town I'd recommend booking for a few nights !
