Started with the staff, we got a call the afternoon of our stay as we were arriving several hours after the estimate to in quire about our dinner plans. we would be arriving after the kitchen closed, so the owner offered to have a couple of salads made for us. The hotel has the classic British pub-hotel charm, but the room had a nice modern feel to it with a wonderful bathroom. air conditioning would’ve been nice, but the fan did the job. Great staff, selection of beverages and breakfast was fabulous.

The property is non-smoking and is located 40 km from Walton Hall. Everything was so great! We were looked after in the best possible way. We were not ready at all with the list of things to do in the area, but there were many different info leaflets available and a great visitors information book in the room. And a little surprise box of chocolates too! Wow!! Definitely would love to come back. The places around are so gorgeous. what a beautiful place to visit away from all hassle. The Rooms are beautiful, very neat, and cozy. Definitely recommend it. Thank you!

We have two rooms, both looking out over a large garden, both with its own private entrance.

The Balcony Room is on the first floor, accessed via a private entrance and hallway, used only by you. The Juliet Balcony in this room gives you views of five miles over the rolling countryside. The Balcony Room has its private bathroom downstairs on the ground floor . Guests have their own table in the garden if they want to take breakfast outside. A lovely country location. The room was big and comfy. The room had a separate ground level entrance. The host is very nice indeed, and the breakfast was wonderful.
