Birchwood Guest Lodge offers air-conditioned accommodation in Balmaha. Free WiFi and freee parking is available at the property. The owner welcomed me when I arrived late in the evening , tired from the west highland way, and was very kind and warm! He was helpful and patient even though it was pretty late. The room was decorated so special, and had everything I needed for a good night sleep. The shower is great. The location is close to the WHW trail and was the best choice. Very close to a pub and a coffee place. I would stay there again.

We arrived after a long day of travelling and immediately felt home. We got a room upgrade. Liz gave many recommendations of things to do in the area. There is an electric charging unit for an electric car.

The owners are very friendly and polite. The staff is also very helpful. Excellent accomodation and amazing breakfast.

The room was also very peacefull and very quiet. The bed was most comfy! The food in the restaurant (dinner and breakfast) where also super delicious and the restaurant staff delightful.
