The room is so beautiful, there is so big and beautiful terrace, the view from the terrace! The breakfast and dinner were served to our private table outside of our room. We could enjoy the view and privacy and it felt like five stars hotel, when James cooked so delicious food. Breakfast was also excellent! You are already on the beach, when you open the gate from the garden. The owner Beba runs this place with big heart!

So relaxed and quiet with wonderful staff (especially Seline). Your stress levels just disappear as soon as you arrive! Swimming pool was a great way to cool off after being out for the day. The room was big and comfortable, no mosquitoes. Food was delicious! It is a mile or two from the beach but you can get there in a tuk tuk easily. The beaches and snorkeling are stunning and Gedi ruins are also well worth a visit.

Since we were the only guests in the whole resort, Alberto was so kind to offer us a better room, which was absolutely marvelous!

The fresh flowers on the bed and the bathroom, the multiple towels, kikois, the thoughtful inclusion of contact information for any possible needs, Watamu guidebooks, and a collection of novels – every aspect of our stay was carefully considered. We had the entire pool to ourselves. It felt so cosy and private. The hosts responded to any queries we had and Nancy was such a delight. I loved that we were also able to check out in the afternoon without any rush. I'd love to come stay here again if I'm ever in watamu. Breakfast was fruits, toast, juice and tea or coffee. They have a kitchen where you can prepare meals. Plus, we couldn't help but fall in love with their charming cats, one of which sported a delightful mustache 😂. We were told about a resident tortoise, but regrettably, we missed the chance to meet it.

Set in Watamu in the Coast Region Region, 900 metres from Short Beach (Watamu Marine Park), Rock and Sea Resort features a private beach area and water sports facilities. The bed and breakfast has a barbecue and views of the sea, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The resort is amazing and really peaceful. The location over the Mida Creek is fabulous with a fantastic view. Sleeping in the bubble is an unique experience, you can fall asleep watching the sky full of stars and be woken up by the sunrise. The owner and the staff are very kind and helpful in everything. We had a great time in Rock and Sea and we hope to come back soon.

Buffet and vegetarian breakfast options with warm dishes, local specialities and juice are available each morning at the bed and breakfast. Guests can grab a bite to eat in the in-house restaurant, which serves a variety of African dishes and also offers vegetarian and vegan options in a family-friendly atmosphere. We liked our stay at ShambaZuri a lot. It is a very peaceful and quiet environment with lovely staff. The breakfast was great, too.
