Beautiful well maintained property right along the picturesque Ottawa River. Very clean and lovely ambiance to the place. The variety offered for breakfast was the best we’ve ever had at a B & B. Lots of snacks to take with you during the day or if wanting something in the evening. We found the short drive to downtown Ottawa (10 mins) easy and scenic. The owners go out of their way to ensure you’re happy! They even brought the cape cod chairs across the road for us to indulge in happy hour! There is a lovely fire pit in the backyard which we didn’t use as it was like Summer conditions in early October! This was our first trip to Ottawa. The owners were very knowledgeable and informative in recommending places to visit. What really made our stay special was the owners who truly go the extra mile and make you feel so welcome! 10/10

Breakfast was Keurig, but no milk. I went down the street to Bank for Starbucks, and later, grabbed a couple of milk pods at a pub to bring back for Monday and Tuesday AM. On arrival, I was fortunate to spot a Lebanese restaurant a short block away for a take out. Looked like a nice front balcony, but with the cool and rainy weather, I kept it locked.

It was delicious :) The B&B is perfectly located. You can walk to all sightseeing places within half an hour or less. And there is a bus and trainstation five minutes away. Also Pierre knows so much about the village and it´s places to see, same as about the canadian history. I never got bored!
