Everything including the room, the food, the views, the staff and the facilities has been amazing. We felt so comfortable and taken care of every single day. We would like to emphasize Angela who was just wonderful and accommodating. Including a daily Spanish lesson. :) We stayed 8 nights at the hotel and we would do it again. We used the transport service from an to the airport, Santa Marta and the Tayrona national park. We didn’t have any problems.

Lovely family-run place perched on a hill overlooking the jungle and sea. Really wonderful people. Our daughters loved playing with the animals on site. The food was also very good. How about that view from the pool! And the nearby beach is magical.

Breakfast was included each day with the cost of the room. Lunch and Dinner were also available for purchase. Hosts were very helpful with providing information and offered to get us anything we needed. Air conditioning was a great treat after hiking to the beaches.

A serene place to listen to the roaring ocean and nature sounds. The staff are so kind and helpful making the stay easy and wonderful. The food and drinks were delicious. I won't spoil all the lovely surprises, but keep your eyes open for some animals that truly make the experience unforgettable. A great place to explore Tayrona, but also Villa Maria is so good you might just want to stay in the pool area or look at the jungle and gently swing the hammock on your private balcony. We had hiked through Tayrona National Park and stayed at Villa Playa for some much needed R&R! It is like a home from home - very relaxed with breathtaking views. The staff were friendly and helpful. The view from the property was beautiful. Watching the surfers was enjoyable. The surf is too rough to swim, but we did wade a a little. There is a bar very close for evening drinks and sunsets. There was a spa close where we had massages which were wonderful. The staff was lovely, helpful, arranged transfers for us to Parque Tayrona and back to Cartagena.JaneFamily with young children
