Everything - Jose was interesting and interested. Food was good and plentiful, bed was comfortable. Set up was beautiful and fitted into the surroundings wonderfully. Would highly recommend

The place is very well set up and the owners are kind and helpful people. It's a family operation with lots of experience in hospitality. The rooms are clean and functional. The meals were nice too. We would definitely stay here again.

Ciza and Rosy were so attentive and welcoming. They helped me arrange transport from the airport to Cha and back to the airport at the end of my stay. Breakfast and dinner was very tasty. My room was clean and pleasant. They helped me arrange a guided hike to the peak of the volcano. They are centrally located in Cha and I could buy water and snacks nearby and souvenirs. I had such a wonderful stay with them

Everything! Great Location, fantastic staff, very good food. Staff was always helpful and super friendly. The organization of guides, collectivo were perfect and the area is breathtaking. Don’t miss watching stars at night!

Ze and Sonia were super nice, friendly and accommodating. They could speak French relatively well. The room is simple but functional. The meals prepared were very delicious. The WiFi was good to work from there, and in case, the 4G antenna is located nearby. Absolutely recommended!

We loved our stay at EcoFunco. The funco is very cozy and the bed was very comfortable. You barely hear any noise so we had a great night sleep after our hike. The breakfast served by Isabel was delicious and very filling. The funco was spotless clean. Léa & João were super friendly and gave us a lot of tips about the hikes we could do in the area. We definitely recommend this place and would love to return one day.

Yulia was an incredible host. We took our time to have a deep conversation with her about life in Fogo. She made us feel like part of her family, she shared with us all Cape Verdean values. She is an incredible cook and an amazing woman who made this journey very special for us. The dinner was massive and extremely delicious, her chicken in tomato sauce and the vegetarian cabbage dish left us speechless. Yulia appears to be a respected member of Mosteiros society and people spoke very well of her, her neighbours gave us fruit for free and were happy to chat with us. If you speak Spanish and you are patient enough, Mosteiros and Yulia can offer you an unforgettable experience.
