The location was great. It is a 15 min walk to cultural centre of Puerto Plata and a 10 min drive to the cable car station. The apartment had a lovely balcony with a great view over the city and ocean. Juan and his wife both met us and gave us good advice about sightseeing, restaurants and other local information. They were very friendly and helpful and Juan spoke excellent English. The apartment was well equipped and it was good to have a secure parking space in front of to the apartment.

Everything was great , our host Hector is a lovely person , he was friendly and helpful. The room was a good size lots of space. We cooked in the room every day. Really nice outdoor space and the residential area that the room is set is very nice and safe. The main town area is a bit of a walk but if you don’t fancy it then there are mototaxi bikes nearby.

My villa was looking a construction site. Two chairs in the terrace facing the street , no nice decoration, no nice design...too cold look and not comfortable at all. There are a lot of better hotel in the area for the same or less price.

Villa Carolina is close to the Ccenter of Puerto Plata -10 minutes walk. During the night it was quiet. But when Puerto Plata awakes than it gets very busy and noisy. For me it didn't matter because I was day by day on sightseeing tour. I would choose Villa Carolina again. Thanks to all of you!
