We arrived pretty late in the night, and the owner was super friendly and came for our check-in. He even upgraded us, and gave us a more spacious room. He was very kind, and have us all the tips on where to park, and how to organise for our departure in the morning to Mount Athos. The residence is on a very good and central location in Ouranoupolis. It is a new construction with a magnificent design and beautiful architecture. It is clean, the beds are comfortable, there is air conditioning, a small fridge and water is provided for free as a warm welcome. The bathroom is great and new too with a large shower, and amenities are provided. It is excellent, and I can only strongly recommend!

Although Ouranoupoli is so small that one could say that all places are well located, the added advantage of Athos is that it's right opposite the bus stop, and really close to tavernas and the small village beach. The room was a standard Greek "rooms to let" kind of place: comfy, clean, with a small veranda and a small fridge. We'd definitely consider staying there again.
