The apartment was comfortable, spacious, and the bathroom had seemingly unlimited hot water and a wonderful shower head. Coffee and tea were provided, the couch was great, plenty of pots and pans. It was a short drive out of Hofn - far enough out for clear skies, but close enough for dinner. The owner has great suggestions on what to do outside of the typical things you find online.

This is one of the most phoographed locations in Iceland with this amazing mountain and it's reflection in the shallow bay in front of it. There are also some great hiking trails nearby and a cool Viking Village movie set worth checking out. The hotel only has a few small rooms but staying here is all about location, location, location! Check out the Icelandic waffles and hot chocolate in the Viking Cafe; it's a great afternoon treat!

Breakfast has little options but delicious and dinner on the hotel was really good too. Staff was amazing throughout our stay. Even though the hotel was fully booked, rooms were super quiet. Overall, not a negative thing to say, it was perfect!

The beach is very popular but staying at the hotel allowed us to visit it in the evening, and in the morning, when we were the only people there.
