we rented out the whole Hanok for 4 people. it was a wonderful and cozy place. The staff was so kind and came to pick us up at the bus stop when we arrived. She gave us a tour of the home and gave us recommendations on the city. We will stay there again in the future.

It is a truly unique site and set of traditional buildings. Wonderfully peaceful even in the midst of Chuseok… The breakfast is an excellent complete Korean meal. The owner and manager is extraordinarily helpful in all kinds of ways, arranging trips, taking us out to get food etc… and quite knowledgeable about the history of the place being himself a member of the family of the original founder. Absolutely unique.

The house is located in the historical Hahoe village and is also a private museum.The rooms are traditional, we were served traditional dinner and in the morning guided through the house. The owner was very nice and helpful.

Nice little place. Clean and comfortable and a nice small kitchen. Rock n roll themed hostel. Had some good chats here with the owner. Good supermarket up the road with some nice take away food and very close to buses to bus/train station. A good experience in general.

Location is very good. It has the view of the scenic mountain. The back drop trees are dramatic. There’s an area where we played. It’s so pristine. I like the traditional house experience. But it’s not suited for elderlies because of has only one bathroom and the path is cobble stone. The owner is very accommodating. He is helpful. He served good breakfast with toast and fruits.

I loved my stay in Andong! So much that I came back a month later with my mother to show her how great is this Hostel n library. Even if I can't read Hangeul properly, I enjoyed being surrounded by books. The café downstairs is one of my favorite places (on Earth). And the dorm was very confortable, with large beds and a very convinient bathroom. The space is easy to share with others. I hope to travel there again soon!

This was such a great place to experience. Also far enough from too many people, but close enough so you don't feel isolated.
