Judith the host is wonderful, and is happy to provide information that will make your stay in Sokcho more enjoyable. Her food recommendations were brilliant. The location is great, and we were able to walk easily to the market as well as to convenient bus stops. The guesthouse is not far away (perhaps a 10 mins walk) from the Intercity Bus Station in Sokcho. Breakfast is simple but good (tea, coffee, eggs toast, homemade jam). The place is very clean, and our room also had an air filter that we used when the outside air quality was bad. Will definitely return to this same Guesthouse in the future. The area is good for exploring central Sokcho, which is a very spread out place. Hotel is also close to a big street where you can hail taxis and take buses. The balcony view was incredible, loved waking up seeing the harbor and the sea! Room was very spacious and the bed big. I mainly booked for the view and washing machine (soooooo happy for the machine!) and that didn't disappoint.
