Exceptional price for the best value! Outstanding place to stay! As soon as we will be back, we will come again! Everything is so clean, new equipment, made with love and passion! The host was so helpful and great! The home cooked food was one of the best and served so beautifully. We loved our room, the garden for yoga, the rooftop for relaxing, the location close to the baby elephant orphans station, and also the massages from Shani!!! I even went in two days for a total of 3,5h of massages. Honestly I can just warmly recommend you to stay there, you will have all you need and even more for an amazing Udawalawe experience and you can book Safari and straight with the owner, they can organise everything for you. The property has an amazing view, we watched every sunrise from our bed or balcony. The bed was comfortable and the toilet was fine. They cleaned our room after 2 days and gave us new towels as well which was a nice change.

This is a hidden gem in the area. We travelled from Canada and decided to go by what other travellers had said and glad we stayed here. The staff found out it was our anniversary and went out of their way to decorate our room - a lovely touch. The place is clean, the room was pristine, the breakfast is good and the staff are excellent. The hotel has its own safari jeep and we organized everything with them, it was probably the best thing we did. We’d go back.

The room is perfect! Great bed with a mosquito net, fan, shower and awesome balcony to sit on and watch the elephants go by! We did the safari with them and loved it so much! Was such an amazing experience! You can order whichever meals you please and it was always a feast!

It was the best lodging of our 3 week sri lanka trip. beautiful large unit with a comfortable bed and more than a sheet to cover with. Beautiful and relaxing pool and delicious meals. Breakfast was twice as much as we could eat... egg hoppers, fresh fruit, vegetable samosas, crepes filled with ginger coconut, coffee and tea. The Elephant transit center was a real highlight and just a 15 minute walk away. The friendly staff organized a nice early morning safari with coffee and bananas before and breakfast after.
