An airy, light, elegant, and well designed apartment in the center of Hilversum, yet on a quiet street and a very short walk to shops, great food, and the train station (20 minutes from Amsterdam). We were greeted with lit candles and classical music. The bikes were perfect for a ride through town and beyond - the city is surrounded by forests and is very close by dedicated bike paths to other towns. The apartment was fully stocked with food - beyond expectations! Plenty of books and maps to help us learn more about the area and the country. Best of all were our hosts Marielise and her husband, who went out of their way to enhance our visit with thoughtful recommendations, information, and great conversation. We were there only 3 nights but felt like we made new friends!

The house was well stocked and quite close to the train station. The TV had a lot of options. There was a wide selection of teas. The bed was very comfortable. The coffee maker was not too difficult to figure out.

The villa, perched atop a meticulously maintained garden, offers a luxurious retreat that beautifully merges indoor comfort with the splendors of the natural world. The garden itself is a spectacle, boasting vibrant, running fountains and a horizon framed by towering, verdant trees. It's as if Mother Nature herself decided to offer her finest work. The serenade of chirping birds adds another layer of magic to the already idyllic setting. A leisurely walk through the adjacent forest, complete with a well-trodden path leading to a secluded pond, was the epitome of peace. The fountain at the center of the pond breaks the forest's silence in the most delightful way, adding a sense of harmony to the setting. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, meeting our every need with a smile. It's rare to find such a flawless combination of natural beauty and outstanding hospitality. This resort is a must-visit for anyone looking to recharge, both physically and spiritually.

The house is practically new. It is fully equipped with everything! The host is very kind, he does everything for the guests. The bed is very comfortable, as are the two sofas. We will return another time. The highway is very close, but it didn't bother us.
