The value of the room is definitely worth the price. Suit for people travel alone and want to spend some extra money to own their private space. The staff is super helpful, and you can book classic tours through the hostel front desk. Even if you have other plans, it is still a good base to explore Huaraz. The hot water works and the kitchen is fully functional. The terrace/dining and kitchen area has a superb view.

One of the cutest and most comfortable places I’ve staid in. I stayed in a dorm room with single (no bunk beds!) beds, tea and a water boiler in the room. Everything was very clean, hot water worked perfectly. At night they lit up a chimney on the fourth floor and the breakfast is super nice (many fresh fruits).

In short, 5 booked days turned into two weeks. We immediately felt at home and incredibly comfortable. For us it was a little paradise. The river that borders the house is perfect for swimming or fishing. From the outdoor kitchen you had a really beautiful view of the mountains, the river and the sunrise. It is a beautiful, quiet place with chickens, cats and sheep that belong to Walter's mother. She lives on the property and supplied us with little things to eat and drink from her little shop. When we were there, there were two baby cats that we really loved. It is super easy, quick and cheap to get to Huaraz town with the collectivo bus. From the property you can walk several small treks, such as to viewpoints and to a waterfall. We were lucky that Walter accompanied us on an adventurous hike to the waterfall. We already miss it and can highly recommend this beautiful spot in nature to everyone. It really exceeded our expectations. Thanks again to Walter and his mother.

The location was very accessible and close to the centre, the beds were comfortable and the common spaces were clean - but the best thing about this stay is the host. Not only does she make available to you a very good breakfast for a great price, but she was also super helpful and kind to us: preparing us tea, giving us lifts to the centre, helping us figuring out how to get to places etc. We really enjoyed our stay and her company too - you’ll really feel at home here! Her dog chochi is also super cute
