Where to start.. Glory is the most amazing host, right from check-in experience, she helped me with my phone, laundry, cooked homely delicious meals and much more. She was always attentive, spoke clear English and was always kind and friendly! I stayed at the bungalow for couple of nights and then came back and stayed again for few nights after Kilimanjaro, the bungalow is very beautiful, comfortable, private and super functional, the bathroom is beautifully decorated, inspired from nature and with really strong pressured hot water. The main house is very nice too, the garden is so beautiful and calming, multiple setting and relaxing areas and the nicest self-service bar!. They also have the most beautiful dog Julie, she was my princess, I took her for long walks and hikes to the nearby rivers, she added a lot to the charm of the place and made this hideaway even more homely. The owner Azizi is a very cool guy, of course he is, not only he did an amazing job building and decorating this amazing hideaway, he is a DJ and a bar tender as well. We hanged out and went for a hike to Paradise cafe at the river less than 30 minutes walk from the hotel. Honestly it was the best place I stayed in magical Tanzania. The place, personnel and Julie (the dog) has touched my heart and made my experience in Arusha an unforgettable and healing one. Please take Julie for walks and love her, she is a very good girl! Ask Azizi for directions to Paradise cafe by the river near by and enjoy !

For the price, this place can't be beat! I only stayed 1 night as I was moving on early the next morning, but during my short time here, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful, and the room was super comfortable. Innocent even got up early at 6am in the morning to communicate with the driver picking me up and to see me off. I definitely recommend a stay here!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Elizabeth Home Hostel in Arusha, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the host, Salha, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the aspects that impressed me the most was the emphasis on safety. As a solo traveler, safety is always a top priority for me, and I found this hostel to be exceptionally secure. From the secure entrance to the well-lit common areas (with security cameras), I felt at ease throughout my stay. The spacious and impeccably clean room I stayed in exceeded my expectations, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The bathrooms were impressive, offering warm showers and a range of toiletries that were readily available. It's the little details like this that truly made the difference in my stay. Salha's attention to providing a comfortable environment was evident in every aspect of the hostel. One of the unique features of this hostel is the variety of amenities it offers. If you're a bookworm, you'll be delighted to find a shelf full of books waiting to be explored. For music enthusiasts, there are two acoustic guitars available for those who enjoy playing instruments. In fact, you can even have a guitar in your own room if you wish! Breakfast at Elizabeth Home Hostel was an absolute delight. Salha's culinary skills shone through as she prepared a delicious and hearty breakfast that left me energized for the day ahead. Additionally, Salha graciously offered to show me around Arusha city, providing valuable insights and making my visit even more memorable. The location of the hostel is good, with easy access to the city center. `Bajaji’ (local three-wheeled taxis) are conveniently located just about 200 metres away, making transportation a breeze. For those planning a visit, I highly recommend contacting the host, Salha before your arrival.

Meleji was like home! The place is a little oasi were have chill time. with the guys was so nice spending time and chatting. They help us renting a car and for other issue. Kelvin is so helpfull and a great story teller :) Also the food was very good! There is a bar and a nice garden were rest from the city and The apartment is very cozy and well equiped. It was a great stay at this homestay/hostel. We had a comfortable room and everything was clean. We had transport organized for us smoothly and a great breakfast served in the morning. I recommend staying here if you’re staying in Arusha.
