Breakfast was also very good. There was mostly tables for two. I would assume it's good for lgbtq+ couples too. Quiet area so you don't have to hear noise from the streets. Really great place for quite cheap considering what you get!

Breakfast was very nice. It was very quiet and clean. The host was very friendly. He showed us the way to the city centre and drove in front of us to show us the way to the parking garage. The room was super nice and completely new! The breakfast was delicious, prepared with love. The tram station on the other side of the road is perfect to travel to the city center of Gent. We enjoyed our two days there!

The owners have got everything spot on in setting up this purpose-built B&B. Communication of details prior to arrival was excellent. We arrived late in the evening in the dark and rain, but pulling into the tastefully lit and very neat driveway / parking area gave an immediate sense of relaxation. Entry to both the gated drive and apartment was by keypad, so all very straightforward despite the late hour. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with every single aspect so well designed and carefully thought through. Efficient air conditioning, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, impressively well-equipped kitchen (hob, double oven, large fridge, dishwasher, all the crockery and utensils you could need for extended self-catering), and copious cupboard space throughout. It has its own patio area with a pleasant view. The location is peaceful. Ghent itself is readily accessible, but for me the rural area to the north was more of an attraction. Quiet, flat roads in pristine condition made for a very enjoyable early morning run. We were there for only a weekend, but I would have happily stayed much longer.

Tip: Make sure you book for the exciting and romantic hot tub experience.
