The location is very walkable to all the good spots in town (we even walked to Cahal Pech), our room was very comfortable with an outdoor patio, and Ani and Seleni were so delightful, helpful, and fun to chat with. You can even grab coffee, fruit, and toast there in the morning. We definitely recommend this guesthouse!

Situated 7.6 km from Cahal Pech, RiverHill Hideaway offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a private beach area and a garden. This is truly a place you will call home immediately. The house is built and decorated to perfection and would make an awesome fit for the Netflix series "the world's most amazing vacation rentals". The architecture combines inside and outside with an outdoor kitchen and various seating areas. Enjoy the hummingbirds, tukans and the beautiful jungle around you. You have a private riverside seating area as well with the option to swim. Two cute dogs will welcome you in the morning and when you return from a tour or dinner. Ant it comes with lots of extras: strong wifi, washing machine and dryer, super comfy towels, a hammock, many kitchen devices. The owner is friendly and quick in responding, there is the option to book tours, and Albert, the caretaker of the house, is very friendly and helpful. If you are in this region and the cabine is available, book it!

Offering a garden and garden view, Alma Del Rio Eco-Comfort on the water is situated in San Ignacio, 6.1 km from Cahal Pech and 21 km from El Pilar. The property was an absolute dream!!! We stayed at Casa Sophia and bird watched while drinking coffee in the glorious open kitchen/living room space. The house and Hadas’s design touch are boho Belize!!! Loved it all!!

Villa Massis Luxury Villas features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in San Ignacio, 5.8 km from Cahal Pech. With lake views, this accommodation provides a balcony. The villa is located about a 10 min drive from San Ignacio. It’s quite hard to find, but you can ask anyone in town, they will know the host Larry. You definitely need a car. It’s a very nice little place in a beautiful setting surrounded with palm trees. It’s extremely quiet and that gives a nice break from San Ignacio. The beds are big and very comfy. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was perfect for our family of 4 even without a living room. Larry can give you good advices about the activites in the area.

Hummingbird Rest a fully equipped cabana in subtropic garden, a property with a garden, is set in San Ignacio, 15 km from El Pilar, 26 km from Barton Creek Cave, as well as 28 km from Actun Tunichil... Hummingbirds on your patio are a great way to wake up and go to sleep. The locations close to town but not too close. We had a rental car and felt the vehicle was safe from both other traffic and people. There are multiple places for food or if you want to cook the cabins have a full cooking setup. Excellent! Also check out the grounds and admire all the hard work put into creating this hummingbird haven.

Santa Cruz Cabins has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Santa Elena, 4.2 km from Cahal Pech. With garden views, this accommodation features a balcony. I stayed at Santa Cruz Cabins with two of my friends and we had a wonderful stay! The cabin was super comfy and clean but the highlight was definitely the hosts, Tony and Juliet. They were so welcoming and provided us with tons of really useful information on the area. The cabins are about a 30 minute walk from San Ignacio but as 3 young women we felt safe walking to and from the town along the main road both during the day and in the evenings. The highlight was the home-cooked, local breakfasts made by Tony and Juliet every morning. They brought them right up to our cabin to enjoy on the screened in porch and explained all the local ingredients and dishes that they prepared. If you are planning any trips/tours around San Ignacio definitely reach out to Tony and Juliet and they can connect you with really reliable transport, guides, etc.

Located in Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve near the Blancaneaux Line, Kāne Villas offers 3 separate vacation rentals on a 5 acre property. The property was absolutely beautiful and well kept. The villa was wonderfully appointed. I wish we would have had an entire day to spend there.
