The property was just like the photos. The apartment we had presented as new. It was super clean, functional and suited our family of 5. The location was great as it is either a short drive to Madesimo or very convenient to walk/drive a very short distance to take the lift to Motta if you are there to ski. I noticed some comments in reviews about the apartments being on a main road. Campodolcino is a small town and very little traffic passes on this very narrow road that passes through the centre of town. There was no traffic noise and entry/exit to the property was easy. It’s also convenient to walk a very short distance across the road to the butcher and supermarket, bar and restaurants. The temperature inside the apartment was very comfortable with heating in each room that could be adjusted. It was cold when we were there (minus temperatures) but the apartment was always comfortable. The beds were very firm (as per the other reviews). The linen and towels were all good quality/condition. The kitchen was suitable to cook a simple meal after a day on the slopes as it had a 4 burner stove, microwave, fridge and reasonably stocked kitchen utensils, pots/pans/ plates/cutlery. The bathroom was as new with reasonable water pressure and hot water supply in the shower. There is no television but an iPad is supplied. This was a positive for some of the family and a negative for others. There were board games supplied so family monopoly was great after a day on the slopes. Contact with the manager was easy (we used WhatsApp) and they were very responsive.

Set 36 km from Benedictine Convent of Saint John, Olympic Chalet offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. The property has river and garden views. We had a partial view of the mountains. It was a short walk to some shops. The apartment was very clean. Daniele lived just below our apartment so it was easy to contact him when necessary. Underground parking was a plus. It was nice to have a kitchen so that we could have breakfast without leaving the apartment early.

Offering mountain views, Alpenheim Apartment Ischgl is an accommodation situated in Ischgl, 20 km from Fluchthorn and 21 km from Silvretta Hochalpenstrasse. We loved our stay at Alpenheim! We stayed there with our four children (10, 9, 6, and 4), our basset hound, and my parents in Apartments 3 and 4. They were spotless, comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Theo, Melanie, and their family were very welcoming and wonderful hosts. We loved being able to order fresh bread in the evening and to have it right outside our door in the morning! They were very patient with our dog and children, and we are grateful for their hospitality. It was an easy walk to the lifts, even with little kids and their gear. There was a well-stocked grocery store and plenty of restaurants nearby. Make sure to bring hand soap, shampoo, etc. or purchase there. Alpenheim was an amazing find, and we are glad that we got to ring in the new year at such a lovely place.
