The hosts were super hospitable, warm and friendly. The owner came to Beijing Airport to pick me up and brought me safely to their home. It felt like a homestay with home cooked breakfast. The breakfast was sumptuous, and had this very homestyle feel. The location is just six minutes away from the Gubei Watertown and Simatai Great Wall. I wanted to see the Great Wall at night so I chose to stay here. The owner drove me to Gubei Watertown and back to the hotel so transportation was fine and good. Wifi was fine and the bed was huge. Again, the owners were so kind and friendly. I felt like a VIP.

Our host, Ellie, was really accommodating and baked fresh bread, macaroons, and croissants for us. Your stay includes a roundtrip car ride and tickets to Gubei Watertown (just 5 minutes drive away). She also arranged for a driver to take us to Panlongshan for a small fee, which is a wild section of the Great Wall about 15 minutes away. I would definitely recommend the hotpot dinner, at the guesthouse, too. I appreciated the small details, like the bathbomb that was provided with the bathtub, too!

It was a welcoming place to stay in a beautiful location. We were greeted with smiles and the food was delicious. We would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Situato a soli 10 minuti a piedi dalla Grande Muraglia di Badaling e a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria di Badaling, il Beijing Badaling Great Wall Cao's Courtyard Hostel occupa un edificio... David is amazing, help me through everything (tickets, taxi, hints, .. ). His English is very good. Courtyard is very nice, food very good. Atmosfere magic. Strongly recommended.
