Doté d'un jardin, l'Eco Guest House - Sarapiquí 1 est situé à Sarapiquí, à moins de 35 km des jardins de la cascade de La Paz et à 38 km de Catarata Tesoro Escondido. This "Guest House" is huge. A family of 4+ could easily move in here and live comfortably. The back decks are beautiful to just sit and watch the jungle. It is a little way down the road from the city, which means it is quiet and very laid back. I had both a breakfast and a dinner while at the guest house. Both were great portions with a lot of variety, tasty, and well worth the money. Unfortunately, my schedule and Wendy's schedule didn't align for her bird tour. There was lots of flora and fauna to explore. My personal sightings included Toucans and a Morpha butterfly. I'm willing to bet that there was a lot I missed that Wendy could have found and shared!

Wendy and her family were fantastic hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Sarapiqui 2 to other travellers. Waking up to the sound of Howler Monkeys is something that we will never forget!

Bienvenue à la Casa Familiar La Tortuga, votre maison loin de chez vous à Barva de Heredia! The owners welcomed us into their home. The room was very spacious and clean with a good size balcony. Excellent breakfast.

Situé à Vara Blanca, à seulement 15 km du parc national de Poas, le Deluxe boutique lodge propose un hébergement avec vue sur la montagne, une connexion Wi-Fi et un parking privé gratuits. The Deluxe Boutique Lodge was perfect in so many ways. We booked this location to be close to Poas National Park and La Paz Waterfall Garden. It was 20 minutes to one and 10 to the other. Walter met us at the property even though due to weather and construction we were about an hour late. He also became our lifesaver that day. Again, due to weather, a family member was delayed arriving into San Jose. Walter volunteered to drive down to San Jose and pick her up. The property is located on the main road into the small village of Vara Blanca, walking distance to restaurants and shops. The Lodge is super clean and very nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable, the WIFI very good and the huge TV was a welcome diversion during the stormy weather. We do not hesitate to recommend this property

We just stayed one night on our way from the caribean side to Monteverde and did not expect to stay in such an exceptional accomodation. The owners were very welcoming, served a tasty healthy breakfast personally in their beautiful villa with so much history. We spent a wonderful morning in the lovely big garden with many birds and their nice and well educated dogs. We can recommend this very special amiable apartments.

The house was very clean and perfect for my family. We loved every minute there. The hosts were so kind and communicative, we felt valued and happy to be there. Thank you very much!
