The hosts gave excellent suggestions about area activities and provided a very helpful map. Watching the sunset from the nearby lake park was terrific.

Gististaðurinn er staðsettur í Nuevo Arenal og í aðeins 22 km fjarlægð frá Venado-hellunum. Lucky Bug is a fantastic place to stay, we had a great time there. Monika and Rob are brilliant hosts, so helpful and made us feel so welcome. Lucky Bug is in a beautiful setting with small lake and rain forest all around and the rooms are lovely and comfortable. Eating on the terrace over looking the lake is a great spot to eat and the food is really good - great breakfast every day! Would thoroughly recommend Lucky Bug.

Lakeview Arenal 1 Bed Suite, Communal Pool & Gym, er staðsett í Tronadora og í aðeins 43 km fjarlægð frá Sky Adventures Monteverde-ævintýrunum. We loved how peaceful, classy and clean the studio is! Great amenities and finishes and the bed was really comfortable. The setting is beautiful and the use of the clubhouse with gym, pool and game room was awesome! The Monday morning community breakfast was tasty and a good chance to commune with other residents and guests. The hosts Ian and Marcela are personable, available and went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable. One of the highlights of a great stay was an amazing reflexology session with Mariela. We also took advantage of a massage in their spa, which was super affordable. The drive from town to their suite was on a short dirt road with great views of the lake, so we chose to buy some food in town to cook in their amply supplied kitchen rather than drive back and forth.

Vulkan Arenal Amazing View Lodge 4 WD er staðsett í El Castillo de la Fortuna á Alajuela-svæðinu og Arenal Eco-dýragarðurinn er skammt frá. We (1 couple) stayed for 3 days in this beautiful lodge. The lodge is directly located on top of a small plateau of a mountain. The view we had up there is just amazing. The Arenal is exposed really good and sitting at the outside table was a beautiful experience. It is really quiet most of the time, because there is no neighbors. Only during the night it can get a bit loud due to strong winds or rain. The kitchen and bathroom/shower facilties seem really modern. You need a 4x4 car to climb the asphalted road and get to the lodge. The owners were really friendly and communicating was always fast (Whatsapp).

Pie in the Sky 3 Amazing Luxury Home with Lake and Volcano view er sumarhús í El Fosforo á Alajuela-svæðinu og er 13 km frá Fortuna. A wonderful place! ... Really "in the sky", all around only nature, no view of houses. Very good for birdwatching, toucans come by daily and hummingbirds are everywhere. There is an observation platform. You can see the volcano and Lake Arenal from everywhere on the property and the many armchairs grouped around the house. The people from the agency are very friendly and helpful. We missed some things in the kitchen and bedside lamps, everything was done immediately. You have to know that there are three units on the property. In addition to the large house with four bedrooms (which we rented), there is a (very) small unit in a kind of garden house for 2 people and another house with 2 bedrooms.

We were waisted because everything we saw during the hikes couldn’t compete with our place. And lot’s of Kolibri’s and butterflies in the garden.

Gingerbread Restaurant & Hotel státar af garðútsýni og býður upp á gistingu með garði, verönd og bar, í um 21 km fjarlægð frá Venado-hellunum. We absolutely loved the cooler temperatures. Be prepared for a unique experience…the shower had ornate ceiling with plants growing inside and up above. Breakfast was served “family style” and the owner/chef engaged with his guests. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. Surrounded by lush forest!
