The property was secure, clean, tidy, and the pool/ garden area was lovely. A short walk to a supermarket, and playa negra. Lots of space for parking if you are planning to rent a car for your trip! Hosts were super helpful with any requests and particularly with transport as we did not rent a vehicle of any sort during our stay.

Offering quiet street views, Cahuita Apartment by Angie is an accommodation located in Cahuita, 500 metres from Blanca and less than 1 km from Negra. I loved my stay!! Angie and her daughter Anielka were extremely responsive and attentive! Checking in periodically to see if there was anything I needed. Made me feel very welcomed and at home. The space was large, with a full stock kitchen. The couch in the living room was also very comfortable. During the day, the house could get hot but using the air conditioner in the bedroom it wasn't an issue at all. I really enjoyed how quiet the area was, while conveniently walking distance to the main street of town. So great location!

Apartamentos Caimán Tortuguero is situated in Tortuguero. A fridge and kettle are also available. National Park is just 100metres from the country house. It was so nice to live in a small neighborhood instead of a tourist resort! Carlos, the host, was a wonderful help with any arrangements we needed. The apartment was spotless. We are going back to stay there again!

Situated in Guápiles and only 7.7 km from Ebal Rodriguez Stadium, Poponé Farm & Lodge features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This was just the most beautiful surprise during our Costa Rica trip. We stayed here as a stop over from the Caribbean to Arenal, which was a great idea. We recommend arriving before it gets dark, which we just happened to do. You get out of the car, and are in the middle of the woods, walking towards these beautiful cabins, that just seem from the movie. In our case, we were the only guests, but there was another functioning cabin, and a couple in the works. The cabin is small but has everything you need to spend a night. The interior is very cozy, beautiful, and to have this amazing view to the outside. The bathroom actually exceeded our expectations, this was one of the best showers we had during our trip. Homemade breakfast is served in the morning by the family who owns the space. There’s a big outdoor dining area for this, which is part of the big property. You also have a small river you can walk down to, or just mingle and stay at the park-like terrain. We would definitely love to come back!

Situated in Puerto Viejo and only less than 1 km from Negra Beach, Kalawala features accommodation with city views, free WiFi and free private parking. It was located close to the town and the Host (Tom) was very helpful and well organized. The check-in and check-out was very easy. And the bakery close by is absolutly amazing!!

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Casa ANA KIMBA is a recently renovated holiday home set in Puerto Viejo, 1.3 km from Negra Beach. Our stay was hands down one of our best so far in costa rica, all thanks to the wonderful hosts and amazing room. The room itself was very clean, big, comfortable and fully equipped. It was located in a central area of puerto viejo which is close to all sights and attractions while being very quiet. The street is well lit and there is a parking option on site. The hosts themselves were very kind and helpful and made us feel at home. They are very knowledgeable about the area, and their tips and suggestions were second to none. Though we did not try Jose's breakfast, it looked absolutely delicious! We would come back in a heartbeat

Offering a garden and garden view, Alloro Jungle Villas is set in Puerto Viejo, 3 km from Chiquita Beach and 2.4 km from Jaguar Rescue Center. We stayed in one of the villas for three nights and absolutely loved it! The host was very kind, helpful and accommodating. The villa was extremely clean, had new appliances in the kitchen, a very modern bathroom and a beautiful pool area. We were happy that the villa had a TV with Netflix on it too and loved watching movies. Due to the many plants on the property we had enough privacy in the apartment aswell. We would definitely come back!
