Beautiful location, plenty of space to sleep, relax, have meals plus great views. Very helpful staff that visited the house while we were away and prepared fireplace for us after we used wood the day before. Perfect location to explore Savegre forest and this area. In the cottage we found a contact to very good, profesional birdwatching guide.

This was the last stay in our trip and we can sure say that it was THE BEST! We liked everything, new apartment, pool, the view from the roof, superb bed, nice smelling shower gel, quiet neiborhood, 10 out of 10!

In addition we got a bigger apartment which was not so warm. It is within a very safe place and with a code for the door, which makes it very easy.

La cabaña era ampia e piena di accessori come bollitore, microonde, macchina del caffè, frigo. Solo dopo averne fatto richiesta, la seconda sera, ci è stata data una piccola stufa che ha creato un po' più di tepore. La doccia aveva acqua calda. C'era un'ampia terrazza con vista sulla vallata.

Situato a San Gerardo de Dota, a soli 17 km dal Cerro de la Muerte, l'Hospedaje Casa Monge offre gratuitamente biciclette e la connessione WiFi. Perfect little hut. A bit cold at night but there are sufficient warm blankets. We saw several Quetzals nearby. Highly recommended.
