Adults-Only Hacienda Terra Taina in Las Terrenas provides adults-only accommodation with pool with a view and a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The breakfast was lovely and we looked forward to it everyday. It usually consisted of a selection of fresh fruit, fruit juice, coffee, eggs (optional ham & cheese added), tomatoes and avocado. Perfect way to start the day! The staff (shoutout to Valerio and the kitchen/housekeeping crew!) was incredibly helpful and kind. Valerio helped arrange our transport to and from the airport, coordinated our scooter rental and also recommended some fantastic restaurant options. The breakfast crew always greeted us with a smile in the mornings and prepared the most delicious scrambled eggs. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and the perfect place to read a book on a lazy, late afternoon. The location is away from the main strip and while walkable, I would recommend either renting transport or going via moto-taxi. We loved that we could retreat from the buzz of the main strip to a calm and relaxing home-base.

Situated within 800 metres of Punta Popy Beach and less than 1 km of Las Ballenas Beach in Las Terrenas, Casa Barbara provides accommodation with seating area. Casa Barbara quiet, clean and the host were super friendly. We loved having coffee by the pool and hanging out with her friendly sweet pups. The size of the beach cottage was perfect for the two of us. The ac worked great for sleeping at night if you like a colder temp. I was also impressed with the hand poured concrete kitchen counter top and woodwork for bed and shelves. All functionality was well thought out.

Set in Las Terrenas, 70 metres from Punta Popy Beach, Puerto Plaza Las Terrenas provides accommodation with a rooftop pool, free private parking, an open-air bath and a bar. I recommend the Puerto Plaza hotel which has an incredible concept and is in a great location. There are lots of shops, laundry, pharmacy, restaurants, bars and a disco nearby hotel. Very comfortable rooms, where nothing is missing and there are very clean. I really enjoyed serving breakfast which was fresh and tasty. The hotel staff is very nice and friendly. Everybody's are ready to help. The receptionist Alex is very polite and can solve any problem in such a way that the stay at the hotel is very pleasant :)

I had the most comfortable bed with chunky pillows and I slept like a baby there.. my room was cleaned perfectly every day.. it has a cool hammock to chill in, pool, bar.. and is not far from the most beautiful beach ever. You can rent scooter on the premises. Owners are really nice people with loads of ideas of activities around..

Situated in Las Galeras, El Pelicano Apart-Hotel features accommodation with pool with a view, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Super spacious place, with trees around and a nice swimming pool. Communication upon arrival was excellent, it was definitely one of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip.

21 Palms is set in Las Galeras, only 300 metres from the beach and 3 km from La Playita Beach. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar, hot tub, free WiFi in all areas and free private parking. Amazing stay, definitely recommended! Totally laid back and amazing staff. Andrea and Francesco are extremely hospitable and accommodating.
