I highly recommend this hostel, situated near the historical centre.

Located in Riobamba, 14 km from San Andrés, Casa de Mármol provides a shared lounge and free WiFi. Irma, the host, was fantastic. She runs an amazing, comfortable and welcoming guesthouse. Her hospitality really made the hostel feel like a home and enjoy Riobamba so much more. I 100% recommend her- best place to stay in the area, even Ecuador. Thank you so much! I'll be back.

Very comfortable and immaculately clean small hotel on a quiet street. All the staff were super friendly and worked very hard to make sure we had a great stay. Special mention to Luis in this respect. There is a cafe/restaurant which served an excellent steak, followed by a very good apple cake. Breakfast was fine with omlette and toasties on offer with good coffee. Secure parking is available at another property nearby,, and a lift was available to and from there.

This is an out of the way very tranquil property. If you want the big city, don’t come here. If you want a very relaxed stay in an indigenous town with extremely nice people, this is for you. Served me dinner and breakfast for a very reasonable fee. They have a museum which is well worth it. Also sell some homemade indigenous products made the the townspeople.
