The man running the guesthouse communicated well in advance and sent us a payment link early so we didn’t need to think about it on holiday. When we arrived he was welcoming, friendly, had cooked us fresh bread and banana cake. They had fast internet, a kitchen stocked for breakfast, and he told us where all the best places in the area were. Fantastic place to stay!

Este camping tiene vistas al lago Mývatn y ofrece cabañas con suelo de madera, baño privado y terraza. Se encuentra a 500 metros del campo de golf de Krossdalur y a 1 km de la localidad de Reykjahlíd.... Está ubicado perfecto para poder ver todo lo que hay cerca del lago. Las vistas son muy bonitas y la casita por dentro es preciosa.

Beautiful view, sometimes sheep are around the apartment which is lovely. Staff was nice and supportive. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Little limited space for the luggage but manageable.

Llamamos por una duda, se cortó la llamada y me devolvieron la llamada enseguida.

Very clean, great shared kitchen, bedroom large and comfortable. The staff is amazing especially Monika who helped me pay a parking fine. She went above and beyond being helpful. A really lovely person that helped me and made my stay so nice.

El Skútustadir Guesthouse ocupa una granja en la orilla sur del lago Mývatn. Ofrece cocina y salón de uso compartido, vistas a la montaña, WiFi gratuita y aparcamiento gratuito. Everything about this guesthouse is nice. The breakfast provided has a very good spread. The homemade jam was nice. Milk from their cows were tasty. The rooms are clean and very well equipped. The aurora view were extremely beautiful & awesome. The hosts are very attentive as well.
