We were 3 guest at a very clean (somewhat small) room with 4 beds. and a small kitchen. The location is excellent and the views are beautiful. The staff were great: we will for ever thankful for the help we got starting are broken car in a middle of a terrible wind and rain storm!!

It is very well equipped and there was even a supply of basics (oil, pasta, etc) that I assume had been left behind by other renters. There were a couple of restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. Highly recommended.

The location was amazing, with mountains behind the cottage and the seaside in front of it. The design was perfect: really welcoming, we felt like home! And the host was super nice and alzata answered to all our messages.

Set in Hellissandur in the West Iceland region, Gotuhus - Sea View Apartment features a patio and mountain views. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free WiFi. The location is just stunning! Could have stayed the whole holiday there. Great view from the privat balcony (family of seals to watch with the provided binoculars you find in the appartement). Super comfortable beds, nice equipped kitchen and all you ever need in the bathroom. If you stay in Hellisandur, go and have yourself a great dinner in the Vidvik restaurant, that makes you stay perfekt.

Akkeri Guesthouse is offering accommodation in Stykkishólmur. This guest house features a garden and free private parking. At the guest house, units include a desk and a flat-screen TV. Breakfast was not included however the owner was very lovely, gave us helpful tips and suggestions in the area. I would stay here again.

Situated 37 km from Stykkishólmur, Drangar Country Guesthouse is located on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and features a shared lounge. This was my second time staying at Drangar and it has become my favorite spot in Iceland. Even though it had been three years since my last visit I was welcomed like a friend who visits regularly. Leana and Knútur make you feel right at home and are great to have a chat with. After staying in a few hotels, the personal approach was a nice change of pace. You'll leave the next morning with a full belly after a great breakfast and some extra info about the region, farm and wildlife. The guesthouse itself is located by the water and is incredibly peacefull. You can sit by the ocean and hear nothing but birds and the water. The rooms look brand new, everything is spotless, not a single remark to be made. I'll be looking to return for a third time, and Drangar has become a staple for me on any future Iceland Trip.

Guesthouse 43 has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Grundarfjordur. This guest house features a garden. The guest house features family rooms. This was our favorite place by far of our entire trip. The living room was spacious and we had a beautiful direct view of kirkjufell. The couches and beds were so comfortable and the tv had cable which was a welcomed surprise. The kitchen was modern and we were able to cook a full meal. It was well stocked with things like oil and spices which you might not buy.
