I had booked this place because we were going to do an activity in the area, it was canceled on that day but I kept this booking even though it can be a little difficult to get to (I would recommend taking a taxi from the train station, bus service is highly irregular).It seemed like it would be a good experience (staying at a Traditional Japanese house in the country). I was right. Kenji is an excellent and helpful host. Our room was one of the most beautiful we stayed in, lots of detail: carvings , kami dana, beams etc. The beds=futons were warm and comfortable. It was quiet and you could see stars at night. You are near the river and can see/ cross one of the famous bridges. This is rural Japan and I loved it.

Everything was perfect and the hosts are such an incredible lovely couple. Couldn't have asked for more. There is also a fantastic sashimi place down the road.

The guesthouse and the neighborhood are amazing. The owner is one of the nicest and warmest people I have met. The bed was even nicer than that of a much more expensive ryokan. The train ride to the guesthouse was scenic, the location of the accommodation is perfect, the eateries nearby are all good. The place itself was spotless with a really nice shower room. Everything was perfect. I can't recommend it enough.

I loved the hospitality that I received there. The owner of the lodging went above and beyond in making sure that I was comfortable and provided for. Today I left early for my pilgrim walk and did not have breakfast. The lady sent me a message and brought me the food and additional lunch 30 km away. She just did it out of the kindness of her heart. She did not need to do that, but she did. It was also raining yesterday and I did not want to leave the room. she brought me lunch on her own initiative. She is smiley and helpful and kind and the place is super clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this accommodation for anybody.

Located a 12-minute walk or a 3-minute bus ride from JR Kochi Station north exit, Katsuo Guest House offers Japanese-style dormitory rooms with air conditioning. One of the best hostels I have been to in Japan. The staff were amazing, the place was comfortable and cosy and it had a really nice atmosphere throughout the whole stay. Have to mention that the owners were very helpful with anything I needed and were super friendly.

Nastanitev Carpe Diem Kamaida se nahaja v mestu Ochi in nudi vrt, skupni prostor za druženje, teraso, brezplačen WiFi ter razgled na gore. Excellent Hidden Property along the Niyodogawa river. Just beside the Aso Submersible Bridge. The quality of the house is so excellent that it is too underrated and the photos don’t do justice. The actual house seems to be so better and witty visiting.

Nastanitev CrossFit Otoyo Strength TINY HOUSE se nahaja v mestu Otoyocho in nudi fitnes, vrt, teraso, brezplačen WiFi ter razgled na gore. The tiny house is very well designed, and we really liked the porch, BBQ outside and access down to the river. Highly recommended stay and the hosts helpful with all questions. We recommend a visit to the nearby Aoshotenjofuku Temple 粟生聖天 定福寺
