初音(はつね) is located in the Shimogyo Ward district of Kyoto, 1.5 km from Kyoto Station, 1.4 km from Gion Shijo Station and 2 km from Kiyomizu-dera Temple. The manager is very friendly, and the location is just too peaceful, near two metro stations. The room was bigger than in others hotels, and so comfy, I really will come back for sure!

Very central yet quiet location (short distance to kiyomizu temple and tons of nice restaurants) comfortable beds, friendly staff, quickly come over and help us out with the bed once we reached out, Love that it comes with a small kitchen and its own washer/dryer, Value is good given its location

Attractively set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Gionmachi, Minn Gion is situated 300 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 600 metres from Gion Shijo Station and less than 1 km from Shoren-in Temple. One of the best stays I ever had. If you don't need breakfast or daily cleaning service, this place offers incredible value for the money and feels more than a small Airbnb than a hotel, since the room included a sofa, a table, and a kitchen. Everything was clean and check-in/check-out went very smooth for us. The location right in Gion is also perfect, as I think Gion is one of the best areas in Kyoto at night.

Located in Kyoto, 1.1 km from Nijo Castle and 1.7 km from the centre, Rinn Shiki Juraku provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a garden. Absolutely loved the character and charm of the hotel, the facilities, the lounge area for breakfast/evening drinks, ease of use of the washer/dryer that was there. The hotel was in a quiet residential section of Kyoto, yet access to Nijo Castle, the Imperial Palace and downtown Kyoto was very easy and within a 15 minute walk. Access to the train stations and Uber/Taxi's were equally easy. Amazing local restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel - highly recommend Daigan around the corner for an amazing sushi with an engaging/entertaining/welcoming chef.

Located in the centre of Shimmachidōri, 1.1 km from Kyoto Imperial Palace and 1.6 km from Kyoto International Manga Museum, K-style gosyonishi provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and... Excellent location, 300m from metro (Kyoto bus w/luggage is a pain) so station is easy. Imperial palace is next door. Silent street. Host is friendly, room is indeed spacious, furnished tastefully. Lots of wall sockets. Microwave, fridge is good to have. Openable window, balcony.

Offering sea views, 舟宿 壱 is an accommodation located in Ine, 16 km from Manai Shrine and 16 km from Motoise Kono Shrine. Very beautiful old style Japanese local house but mixed with modern style. An entire house is fabulous with the view and place. Nice free space for living room and table tennis. The relaxing space next to the sea is very good vibe. The staff is very helpful to explain everything in the house, provide the house tour and help to manage dinner and breakfast.
