The house is so thoughtfully designed and with such good taste. Everything is super clean and tidy yet very cozy and it feels like home. The shower rooms are wonderful, the rooms are spacious, the kitchen has absolutely everything and all such good quality. We stayed two nights and visited the world heritage sites nearby. You can get to Ainokura walking 30/40 minutes. The others are reached by bus and the bus stop is right in front of the house. You have a supermarket 2 blocks away, two bakeries from Which I totally recommend the bread / doughnut with red bean paste and the cakes. We also had a wonderful dinner in one of the restaurants. The host was so kind and attentive to every detail. I totally fully recommend staying here. Wonderful experience!

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, Kimachi-tei（きまち亭） is set in Toyama, 3 km from Minami-Toyama Station and 8.4 km from Toyama Family Park. This property is spotlessly clean and in an extremely good location. Matsuda-san took the effort to pick us up from Toyama train station and even offered to send us back to the train station on our day of departure to Tokyo. The size of the house in Japan is second to none, and there are lots of space for a family up to 8 even. The house is fully equipped with ALL the essentials, including not one but two washing machines with built in dryer as well. The bath tub inside the bathroom is probably one of the biggest I have had in Japan thus far. I will highly recommended this beautiful house if you are planning to visit Toyama.

Featuring garden views, ガーデンハウス Mako Land provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 15 km from Toyama-kō. The host lives next door and they were amazing!!! Best experience I had so far on my road trip. Accomodation is just as seen in the photos, lots of decorations, some vintage and lots of furnitures but very clean. We were here in March and it was such a cozy stay. We were a group of 4 so the house was huge for us. The host was amazing in general, he was a funny and outgoing uncle. ^^

Simply the words can't express the magical place of Takazuri-Kita guest house. The location is unbelievably scenic & tranquil. The walk up to the guest house from the closest bus stop is a not to miss walk. We spotted over 30 bird species closer to the property. We have walked up to Gokayama village & an amazing hot spring from the property. Need to mention a restaurant near by the owners. We did lots of amazing walks observing the typical Japanese village life closer to the property. Although all attractions are within walking distance, just being at the property itself is a highlight. The house is a paradise. The setup is amazing. Everything is there that you need. Its more than a guest house and living with a family. The other guests who visits there too become a part of the Takazuri family and the atmosphere it creates is magical. The view from our room window is breathtaking. All meals they provide were simple but delicious , the presentation was amazing. Cant say enough good things about their service. Always you get more than you expect. As a sumary this is one of the best places we stayed during our trip to Japan and this property itself make the tour very special. We would have spent more days here and we belive this is a must visit place in Japan. Once again we thank very much for the Takazuri family who were communicating with us througout from the day we booked to the end too make us an unforgetable stay. They were super kind, helpful. One cannot expect anything more than this.

The 200 years old Minshuku Goyomon lies amid Ainokura Village, a World Heritage Site with centuries old Gassho-style houses and a traditional local community. Warm and friendly welcoming (both our hosts were lovely to us), spending the night in a tradicional Japanese home, the best toilet facilities in my entire trip, good heating, delicious homemade meals!

Located in the historical world heritage site of Ainokura village, Minshuku Yomoshirou offers Japanese-style accommodations in a traditional Gassho-style house with thatched roofs. The farm house experience was simply great! The hosts (husband and wife) were the most friendly and welcoming ever and they made everyone feel comfortable. The bed (futon) was comfortable and everything was very clean. The food was delicious and felt fresh (I mean, I saw the husband grilling our fresh fish, so I know it's fresh). Absolutely recommended!
