Shan, the host, was accommodating, fulfilling all our requests and offering great suggestions for nighttime activities. Despite no kitchen, they kindly prepared our noodles, which turned out delicious. Breakfast was a delight with rotti, chicken curry, dhal curry, sambol, and a refreshing cup of tea. Situated in Nanu Oya and only 7.8 km from Gregory Lake, Ansi Villa features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. It is set 15 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden and offers room service. We chose Ansi Villa for its proximity to Nanu Oya station and it exceeded our expectations in service and quality. The rooms are clean and the beds are so comfortable. Above all the family are kind and hospitable. They had messaged me about train station pick up but due to bad connection I hadn't got the message. The gentleman of the guesthouse came looking for us in his van anyway, and thankfully found us. When we arrived we were greeted with welcome tea and cake. Even their little boy is so hospitable and sweet. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. I highly recommend Ansi Villa and will certainly stay again if I am back in Nanu Oya.

He was really dedicated for me to have a good time. He offered to arrange Tuk tuk drivers, that drive me around and show me nice waterfalls, viewing points and so on, for very reasonable prices. I really enjoyed the breakfast he offered for just a small price. The Room was very clean, very very cosy and it had a wonderful view over the lake and the Pidrutalagala Mountain. Definitely a recommendation!

There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. The owners are amazing people , the free breakfast spread is generous, fresh and delicious. The dinner cooked by host’s sister is probably the best Sri Lankan food we had. Room is immaculately clean and smelling fresh always. We booked the room without attached washroom but that was not a concern at all.

It is situated 11.6 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden and provides a 24-hour front desk. We had a good time with Wasa, Chithra and their son Rashi. They are a very heartwarming family and helped us with everything we needed. Wasa arranged a tuktuk tour for us to a tea factory and a waterfall and draw us a hiking-map from the house to single tree (3 hours tour through tea plantations and the wood, very recommended). You have to eat dinner there - Chithra is such a good cook! We ate twice there because we really loved it. All in all there could not be any better hosts then this family.
