Situated in Nanu Oya and only 7.8 km from Gregory Lake, Ansi Villa features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The location of the facility is good, close to the train station. Surrounded by a beautiful tea plantation. The facility's employees are very nice and helpful. Dinner was very tasty. The room was well-kept and clean. The bed was large and comfortable. We took a shower in cold water because we were afraid to turn on the water heater (the exposed power cables were on the shower head). Nevertheless, I recommend it.

The room itself was immaculate, with modern amenities and a cozy atmosphere. The best stay ive had in srilanka. To start of, their food is too good… every day they gave us new food up to our liking and preference. the team was just amazing available at all times with a service even better than 5 star hotel. they made sure our driver was also taken care of which we are very grateful for ! they made our honeymoon stay better. highly recommend it !

I recently stayed at Wood Cabana and had a wonderful experience. The decor is absolutely stunning and really adds to the ambiance of the place. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious dinner and breakfast that was cooked by the owner's mother. The food was absolutely amazing and really added to the overall experience. I would highly recommend Wood Cabana to anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming place to stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Boasting garden views, woods hut features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 4.4 km from Gregory Lake. Chithra, Wasantha, and their darling son Rashi are very special people. The home is infused with their love and joy. If you are accustomed to staying in swank hotels do not be put off by the basic furnishing. The bed is extremely comfortable with cozy blankets, the view is spectacular, the place is spotless and the shower is warm (a rarity in Sri Lanka). The bedding smelled like soap and sunshine. Chithra and Wasantha were professional cleaners in Dubai. — Don’t miss Chithra’s dinners. She’s one of the best cooks I’ve ever met. Everyone tells her she should write a cookbook - and she should. When the tuktuk wound up the steep hill to drop me off at their home at the top, it seemed far away from town. It’s not!!! Chithra showed me a shortcut. It’s an easy path down to the town and back up. It’s not as steep as it looks. It was an easy 10 minute walk down to town and maybe a 15 minute walk back up. I enjoyed getting to know Chithra and family so I engaged them but I was the one who had to initiate that. The family’s default is to leave guests alone. Wasantha was going to take me on a couple hikes in the woods but it rained heavily so I skipped it. I would like to do it next time. I really cannot praise this place enough. I fell in love with this pure hearted family, slept better than I have in a long time, and relished Chithra’s delicious meals. I look forward to returning with friends and family. Five stars all around for this special place.
