El Pearly's - Peaceful Retreat + Stunning Scenic View ofrece vistas al jardín y alojamiento con balcón y hervidor de agua a unos 27 km de Sri Dalada Maligawa. Pearly and Ranjan are incredibly welcoming and warm-hearted hosts. It was a pleasure to talk to them, and they could tell us a lot about Sri Lankan culture. They also gave us great tips what to visit during our stay (in Matale as well as in Sri Lanka). We had an amazing breakfast with fresh fruits from their garden. The room was wonderful and the bed was very comfortable. From their terrace you have a stunning view over Matale and the surrounding mountains. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we would love to come back.

El Riverston Nature Villa ofrece alojamiento con balcón y wifi gratis en Rattota, a 42 km de Sri Dalada Maligawa, del Museo Kandy y del estadio Bogambara. At first we didn’t really know what to expect since there weren’t many reviews on booking, but we were really enthusiastic about this place. The location is stunning, it’s in the middle of nature. I also really liked the people that were hosting. The food was amazing and they made a bonfire at dinner. The woman also took us on a really cool hike through the rice fields. It was an amazing experience all together.

El Wild Glamping knuckles se encuentra en Rangala y ofrece restaurante y terraza. El alojamiento tiene vistas al jardín y está a 47 km de Kandy. Se proporcionan toallas y ropa de cama. So peaceful!! This was a true highlight of our trip. The beds in the tents were soooo comfy, we ended up extending for two extra night. We went on a really great hike with our guide Banu too who was so knowledgeable, it really topped off the experience for us. If you’re looking for something off the tourist track and really in nature this is definitely the place to book.

Stayed for 3 nights and this was our favourite place during our Sri Lanka trip. Homely feel and amazing food and service. Enjoyed the library and endless cups of excellent tea. Our room was comfortable and clean, lots of hot water. Wifi worked very well in the library area. Tea tasting was interesting and some nice walks in the area. Thanks to Dave and the staff for a memorable stay :)

El Plantation Retreat está situado en Kandy, a solo 400 metros de la parada de colectivo de Patanpaha. Ofrece pileta al aire libre y conexión wifi gratis. Sarath and his family are the most welcoming and amiable hosts we had on our journey in Sri Lanka. The lodging is on top of a hill and inside a plantation so you are all surrounded by beautiful nature. As part of the plantation Sarath and his family are growing their own coffee and spices from which Sarath's wife cooked a most delicious breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed our stay at Plantation Retreat very much and will never forget the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We can very much recommend a stay here.

El Hatale Tea Estate Cabaña se encuentra en medio de exuberantes plantaciones de té, a solo 1 km del Hatale Tea Centre. Es un sitio impresionante, entre montañas y plantas de te. Te sientes como en una película, en la era colonial. El personal del hotel es encantador y atento de cualquier alquiler cosa. La comida excelente. La visita a la factoría de te es muy interesante. Allí compramos varios kilos del mejor te a buen precio. Perfecto para perderse unos días y respirar naturaleza.

El Strathisla Guest House ofrece vistas impresionantes a la naturaleza, una pileta al aire libre y una zona de parrilla. Además, cuenta con conexión de wifi gratis en todas sus instalaciones. We loved to stay at the strathisla guesthouse. The view is amazing, the garden with the pool perfect, the staff really friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the tasty food. Definitely a place we would come back.

El Irene's Home es un alojamiento con wifi gratis y vistas al jardín situado en Matale. Se encuentra a 27 km del centro comercial Kandy City Center y ofrece terraza y estacionamiento privado gratuito.... We have booked this place for our first night in Sri Lanka. The owner met us on arrival. As it was everything new to us, we had a good few questions and owner couldn't be more than helpful. He advised us on the places we can visit, where to exchange money etc. Communications been very clear. The house is located within working distance to the very busy town, but in the very quiet area, so we had a very good sleep 😁 If you are looking to visit Matale and looking to stay near by highly recommend to stay at this property 👍 This was a first time we saw the monkeys 🤣🤣
