An excellent choice if you're passing through this sweet town. The apartment feels spacious, and it offers free parking directly outside. It isn't intuitive to find (which side of the building to enter, which door to use, which floor to go to, which key fits into which door...so ask the host for clear and specific details) but you're rewarded when you make it! The fixtures are new, the bed is comfortable, the wifi is fast and the sauna is outstanding and the host was very quick to respond for any questions we had (including how to work the sauna). There were some items in the kitchen that could have benefitted from a more thorough clean, but generally this is an excellent choice and definitely a comfortable and enjoyable night's stay.

I am more than happy with my stay - the apartment was clean, well equipped with toiletries (even diapers for babies and powder for the washing machine!) and kitchen utensils and ingredients. Everything was clean, the beds were super comfortable and big, the TV had a lot of channels installed, there was WiFi there and they offered free parking next to the house. It’s definitely worth the money. The location was superb as well.

Stairwell looks run down, but interior is bright and cheerful. Host nestled all sorts of amenities in a small space in inventive ways, such as small string lights to create workspace illumination. Cheerful place. Comfortable sitting space, kitchen table with chairs. Many mirrors. Comfortable bed and light-blocking drapes for sound sleep. Has huge TV (which we didn't use). Excellent secure internet! Note to travelers from USA: this is Latvia. Think of US amenities circa 1950. No microwave. Single burner hotplate with many good pans, a great hot water/tea kettle. Small dorm-size fridge works well, keeps food nice and cold. To use the washing machine, twist the water valve under the sink to horizontal position. To shower, twist to vertical. Also remember that utilities are very expensive in Latvia; it is a kindness to your host to conserve.

The cabin was well-appointed with all the necessities-comfortable bedding, coffee & tea bar, dishes & linens. owner also offered us a couple of homemade dinner options for a very reasonable cost. We were so happy for the tasty meal after traveling all day and finding nearby cafes closed.

Place was great, everything was there for a nice stay. Liked the porch and that there was a trail to the lake. Also there was a free boat to take for a ride in a lake nearby.
