A modest but very pleasant guesthouse, and perfect for those who don't like the crush of a major hotel. Karine and Jerome are very kind, welcoming, accommodating and helpful. We arrived later in the evening at short notice and Karine not only greeted us very warmly but also called a local restaurant to make sure we could have some food. Breakfast on the lawn was also lovely. We work in Mauritius occasionally and so i hope to go back to La Maison de la Plage.

Whole building is renovated and feels like new. It is very close to the beach Flic en Flac and there is a lot of free parking places behind the building. Very safe and quiet area. Cécile was always helpful and very friendly. Swimming pool was always open and it was good for relaxing with kids.

She was very responsive in such a friendly way. I have never encountered a host as helpful as she is whenever you have any questions about anything from renting a car, places to explore, nice eats. Overall, we left Otium with a happy and grateful hearts.

Set in La Gaulette, 39 km from Les Chute's de Riviere Noire, Tulsi Apartment & Studio offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with a barbecue. Great self contained studio with private balcony and shared roof terrace for sunsets. Host cleaned it every day which was unexpected. Fresh towels every 2 days, again unexpected at this price point. Great selection of crockery including flutes for our sundowners, excellent fridge.
