The young couple that runs Melo Pomelo courtyard are amazing hosts. They have done a fantastic job with the decoration of the place. The rooms feel cozy and you feel very much at home when you are there. There’s a kitchen where you can cook for yourself. The courtyard has a common room where you can seat on the floor with some cushions and eat your food or just have a good time and enjoy the company of the other guests. I must add that the hosts were beyond kind and helpful. they helped me book taxis and they were always in contact with me since the moment I arrived.

Set in Bhaktapur, 12 km from Patan Durbar Square, HOTEL RUPAKOT AND ROOFTOP RESTAURANT features accommodation with spa facilities. Fantastic hotel with superfriendly and welcoming staff. Amazing view from te rooftop terrace, so breakfast there is a must. Also good food available at the restaurant.

Situated in Kathmandu, 200 metres from Hanuman Dhoka, Studio Apartment at UNESCO Heritage Site features recently renovated accommodation with free WiFi and a terrace. A old house locates next to the Palace Square, clean, with all furnitures and equipments you need. Warm shower, kitchen with gas stove, fridge, nice wifi were all included, perfect for solo traveler who want to experience the local culture and walk around the old district. And the nice, helpful host always replied texts immediately and ready to help. Highly recommend this guest house.

With garden views, Sunrise Point Homestay is situated in Nagarkot and has a restaurant and room service. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the homestay free of charge. My stay at Sunrise Point exceeded my expectations. The private rooms are huge and you get a double bed and private bathroom with a hot efficient shower. The views from the room are breathtaking, you can see the Himalayas, and are incredible at sunrise, it feels like you are living in the clouds. The rooms are set in their own area away from the family home so it's very peaceful and private so you can have plenty of solitude in the quiet mountains, but it felt very homely and special to join the family and eat in the communal area, having each meal cooked fresh with ingredient from the farm. The family all care about their guests so much always making sure they have the best time. Staying here is such a special experience to live close to a local family to learn from them about their farm, the passion for a happy life, their culture and traditions.

Offering a shared lounge and city view, Hotel vintage Home is located in Bhaktapur, 200 metres from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and 12 km from Patan Durbar Square. The staff is super helpful and honest. They recommend you the best places and do not try to take money from you. The hotel is also very clean and in a good location. The breakfast was very delicious aswell. Definetly recommend!

Located in Nagarkot, 10 km from Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Jungle Crown Organic Homestay provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. This place was spectacular! The views, the family was super kind, and hospitality was amazing. The family made me feel right at home! The nature just at your finger tips - monkeys, gorgeous birds, and I had a family of pigeons living with me ❤️ All the meals are made fresh with organic items all coming from their family garden. The surroundings are amazing with a waterfall, hiking trails, suspension bridge, and Nagarkot town! I had such an amazing stay that I signed up to stay one extra day and night, I can't wait to come back here. I definitely suggest this place and was one of my favorite stays in the two months spent in Nepal 🇳🇵 The food here was so amazing that I didn't eat anywhere else! Extremely reasonable prices and so fresh, I'm going to miss this food 😢 I stayed in their newly built tree house, and it was amazing, peaceful, majestic, and just what I needed after two months of Yoga Teacher Training and trekking through the Himalayas. Thank you again for the wonderful stay, and see yall next year!

Situated just 2.7 km from Pashupatinath, Swagat homestay offers accommodation in Kathmandu with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as room service. The house is a tranquil oasis in a busy city. It’s not in the tourist neighborhood, so I got to see the daily life of Kathmandu residents. The hosts are kind and helpful, and the cleanliness and comfort are impeccable. I will return on my way back through Kathmandu!

Set in Nagarkot, within 16 km of Bhaktapur Durbar Square and 25 km of Boudhanath Stupa, Nagarkot Trekkers Inn offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for... Kishor is a great Host and you stay at his place with his family. The best part is probably the view as you can see the sunrise not only from his little rooftop but even from your room window, and if you get lucky you also see the big mountain range including Everest. I had my own little cabin which was very sweet, plus there‘s electricity, good wifi and warm water to shower. Breakfast and Dinner is both included and I enjoyed a very nice Dinner that‘s made with vegetables from his own garden which is right next to the house. For me this was the perfect place to stay outside of Kathmandu for a few days to find a calm and quiet place where I could relax before going trekking soon. But there is also a lot of hiking and trekking options in the area if you‘re looking to do that. Also the town of Nagarkot is just a short walk away. If I get the chance I will definetely come back here! Thanks Kishor!
