The cabin was cosy, great heating options but there could have been a little more in the way of kitchen bits (like plastic and paper wrap and maybe cooking oil), the things you can’t bring when travelling. Overall though, loved every minute there and especially the cheeky Currawong (large bird), that visited hoping for handouts. (Don’t feed the wildlife, People!)

We had an issue with the bathroom tap. We were given another chalet immediately. The food at Hellier restaurant was superb. The service was always with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. The location was fantastic - straight across from the visitors' centre where the shuttle departs. The cottage was extremely comfortable with everything you could need, including a brilliant indoor fireplace to keep us warm and cosy. Great kitchen facilities so we didn't have to leave the comfort of the cabin to cook dinner. Our cabin was lovely, especially the fire which was prepared for lighting each afternoon. The whole set up with the boardwalks to the cabins is well thought out. The main lodge is just what you expect in the mountains, fireplaces everywhere, big comfy chairs. the staff were all outstanding, special mention to Alana and Carmel for their 5 star service. The food in both the restaurant and the tavern was very tasty and great selection.
