Large ptivate cabine close to nature with large balcony facing the mountain. We saw green toucanets from the balcony while having breakfast! Comfortable bed with lots of blankets. Hot water available. Large parking area. No kitchen but tea and coffee machine in the cabine. Don't be too late for check-in as road to get there is a steep and it is not easy to drive at night.

Quetzal Valley Cabins is located in San Gerardo de Dota, in Los Quetzales National Park. This eco-friendly property features more than 5 km of on-site hiking trails, plus free fishing and parking.

The location in the mountains is exceptional, as is the view from the cabin balcony. We saw quetzals at cabin 3. We had breakfast at Miriams cafe a few minutes walk uphill and there saw a wonderful array of birds including hummingbirds, acorn woodpeckers, toucan and many more. A delight. Our cabin 0 was wonderful. We loved it.
